Reggie Woods, Saxophonist, Composer, Arranger, Producer, Educator, and Chief Executive Officer, a Queens, New York native has been influenced by legendary saxophonists Gene Ammons and Dexter Gordon.   While his sound is reminiscent of the masters of Jazz, you will be moved by his individual soulful sound. The sweet melodic mature tones of his tenor, alto and soprano saxophone leave your soul stroked and satisfied. A gifted and versatile performer, Reggie has played and recorded with some of the top artists in the business. Although Jazz is his first love, he has added a special quality to his live and recorded sessions with Rap, Pop, Funk and Blues genres.

Reggie has performed with Najee, Isaac Hayes, Bill Saxton, Greg Osby, Bross Townsend, Jimmy Heath, Betty Carter, Doc Cheatham, Ben E. King, Aaron Hall, R. Kelly, RUN DMC, Vanessa Rubin, Rhonda Ross and Hank Shakley from Public Enemy. His audiences range from international to domestic. Reggie has performed at the Open Air Music Festival in Switzerland, Golden Image Awards, Newark Symphony Hall, Birdland, Iridium, Prohibition, Tavern on the Green, Fat Tuesday's, S.O.B.'s, Knitting Factory, Mondo Perso, Nell's, Flushing Town Hall, and the World Trade Center. Movin' In The Positive [Runard Records], Into The Woods [Muse] and Motion [RegReg Music] are the CD recordings by this artist.

As a Composer, it is his superb writing and arranging skills that have caught the attention of his peers. RCA/Novus Jazz vocalist Vanessa Rubin selected two of Reggie's compositions, "Wait for Love" and "A Certain Love", for her first two albums, Soul Eyes and Pastiche, respectively.   Reggie was featured with Rhonda Ross, daughter of pop diva Diana Ross, and their collaboration has been featured on Black Entertainment Television's (BET) Jazz Central. In addition to these accomplishments, Reginald composed the scores for two internationally acclaimed and awarded independent films produced by "Metropolis Pictures" and the "RADA Film Company". Also, he composed and scored "Jeep Blues", a play written by Roger Parris. Composed soundtrack for PBS Film Special for Vanessa Roth, Daughter of Tim Roth, and Screenwriter for Forrest Gump. He has been acclaimed for his performance in "Let Me off in Harlem" for a Vy Higginson Mama Foundation for the Arts production in NYC.

Currently Reginald R. Woods is the President/CEO of Woody Woods Workin' Music LLC and Director of Live Music and Artist Development for Totally Live along with being the Founder and Bandleader of Soul Street Band. Woody Woods Workin' Music LLC has provided entertainment throughout the world for the past twenty years. Woods has coined himself a "Music Broker" who provides entertainment services to corporations, private parties and a diverse client list.  

Most recently Woods and Soul Street performed for President Vladimir Putin at the Konstantinovsky Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia alongside Elton John. They also recently performed a private party alongside Stevie Wonder at Kona Island, Hawaii and opened for Tony Bennett for former President Bill Clinton's Global Initiative Program held at The Sheraton Hotel in New York City.

They have been featured on the Today Show Wedding Series, The Insider and Oprah Winfrey Show "Shalom in the House - Lavish Spending.".

Dedicated to the community, Woods has made a commitment to always give back. He is the founder of Musicians United to Support Youth and Community (M.U.S.Y.C) an ensemble of musicians and poets combining Jazz, Blues, Poetry and Rap with on-stage performance. As the Music Director for 16 years of the SPARK Program of the New York City Board of Education, he teaches the performers theory, harmony and song writing. He has composed original works for the company that uses drama, dance and music in an interactive performance for high school students on drug and alcohol prevention and self-awareness. Special assignments included 2 years of developing a songwriting workshop, providing one on one music instruction with instruments and state of the art digital recording equipment. This culminated in the recording of original music and lyrics written by inmates at Rikers Island Adolescent Facilities and students in Phoenix Academy, a therapeutic community.
As a teacher and mentor he is proud to support his student's accomplishments.

A graduate of New York University (Master of Arts in Music Education and Kodaly Certification), Long Island University (Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance) and Five Towns College (Associate of Applied Science in Music Performance), He is a Certified Prevention Professional [OASAS] Reggie continues to pursue advanced training in music education and counseling.

He is a National Endowment Recipient for Jazz Performance and recipient of the Satchmo Music Entertainment Award.

The band features conductor and band leader Reggie Woods along with a talented group of musicians "Extraordinaire." Soul Street is known for their ability to make parties "rock like they never have before." This band has the ability to perform all genres of music and can excite diverse populations. This reputation has led them to perform for major hitters around the world such as Billy Joel, Robert DeNiro, Method Man, King Hassan of Morocco, President Vladimir Putin, Inc 500 to name a few.


High energy and interactive describes this band. They perform a full variety of music, from 40's to current chart toppers, with an emphasis on 70's Dance and R & B. Besides the personal request by Sir Paul McCartney to perform at his wedding, they have performed at high profile events such as the Presidential Inaugural Ball, New Years Eve at The Mirage Las Vegas, The World Economic Forum.


This acoustic ensemble - from percussion to guitar to keys performs class traditional Latin music in Spanish and English. They have the ability to take the American song book and add a Latin flair.


The soulful sound of lead singer, Roy Bennett along with the diverse and talented mix of performer's leads this band to perform an inexhaustible repertoire. Their experience with performances has developed the reputation that you can dance all night or just relax and get your groove on with this band.


From contemporary jazz to current R & B this trio can perform a repertoire to satisfy a simple cocktail with background music to a full party with dancing. The music along with vocals can make you feel as though you are experiencing an eight piece band.


This smokey, sultry vocalist will make you remember the greats like Diana Washington and Nancy Wilson. She can just as easily cross over to the contemporary like Diana Ross and Gloria Gaynor.   EvE is accompanied by a world renowned jazz ensemble.


Authentic Caribbean sounds with traditional steel pans to performing classic reggae from Bob Marley to Peter Tosh. This band will inspire you to do the limbo and the "wind dance" into the night.
